Dental care in Albania is the greatest cost-benefit option in Europe. Other advantages? Low cost, ease of reaching any Albanian dental clinic, joy of a great holiday in Tirana with the people of your choice.
Albanian dental lab tech, coordinated and operated by expert technicians, always attentive to the needs of the patient and able to work with using the best currently available technologies: the latest equipment, such as laser sintering Precimill Yena DCS CAD / CAM Council-els, IPS Empress and thermopress elastic Bredent and materials of high quality skeletons (everything is inspected and CE certified) make Albanian laboratories pinnacle dentistry.
All procedures performed in Albanian dental clinics are usually guaranteed for 5 years and complies with all standards imposed by the European Union to ensure maximum safety for your health and oral health. All equipment is guaranteed top quality. In addition, the clinics are able to provide all necessary information about the provenance and traceability of all materials used.
This information (beside the very good cost of dental implants in Albania) is necessary to ensure the safety and reliability of dental care for anyone deciding to visit a dentist abroad in Albania or elsewhere in Eastern Europe. Patients opting for dental treatment abroad should pay close attention to such details as the hygiene and quality of the materials used are essential for your health. That is why it is important that the structure is tooling that achieve sterilization of all equipment previously used with other patients, while meeting with CE standards.
All Albanian clinics have sterilization equipment necessary to guarantee a perfect hygiene, and follows strictly all standards imposed by the European community. Another very important aspect is the origin of the materials used. For example, titanium dental implants CE mark can be first or second class, this implying, of course, different costs. We recommend only those first-class because they guarantee good support from the tooth and allows to provide 5 years warranty.

Why is ok to visit Albania
This article is about dental care in Albania, but how about the other aspects of visiting this mostly unknown country?
Although Albania is a small country, it has many natural wonders to offer. This is why a trip to those parts requires good organization, especially if you rely on public transport, which is often very slow. Whether in Albania you want to dedicate yourself to the sea, trekking or historic cities, this is the article for you: what to see in Albania? How to get around? How much does it cost to travel to Albania?
Before we begin: much of what they have told you about Albania is false – not just about the dental care in Albania, but about quite everything. Albania is not at all dangerous, dirty and its inhabitants are anything but inhospitable. The roads are in good condition (maybe they are few, this is true), no one tries to cheat you (certainly no more than in Italy) and only the best is reserved for tourists. In short, all the stereotypes about Albania, a stupid legacy of the dark Italian nineties, are not true. Albania is still a tourist destination for a few: hurry up and travel far and wide before everyone notices its beauty.
The capital of Albania is a really strange city, which always seems on the verge of exploding as a new hipster tourist destination, but still immature. You will then discover a Tirana on horseback with modernity and tradition, which probably at first glance may not convince you: give it time and you will have the opportunity to change your mind.
How much does it cost to travel to Albania?
Can you believe it if we tell you that during our two months in Albania we spent an average of 40 euros a day in two, or 20 euros each, all inclusive? We found accommodations in our tests for dental tourism Albania (some very good, others excellent) from 18-20 euros per night, we spent 2-3 euros a day to eat in cheap restaurants and around 10-12 when we indulged in traditional dinners. We also often ate at home, cooking very fresh and cheap vegetables bought at the market and exceptional cheeses.
How to move on a trip to Albania?
This is probably the most delicate part of the trip, or rather, the one to be evaluated more carefully. Public transport or car? If you choose public transport you should know that rail transport in Albania is practically non-existent, while the bus network is not too widespread. Furthermore, given the mountainous conformation of the area (we are still in the Balkans) the journeys will often be very long and difficult (in almost all vehicles there is no air conditioning). On the other hand, however, they are cheap (5 hours travel 12 euros!) And reliable.
The Albanians cope with the lack of buses with a van service, or private vans that go back and forth between one city and another. If, on the other hand, you want to rely on a car, you can rent it on the spot (at high costs starting from 30 euros per day) or use your own (arriving in Albania by land crossing the Balkans or embarking on the ferry): however, know that petrol is not quite cheap, indeed. In fact, it costs almost as much as in Italy, which is madness, considering the average Albanian salaries.
Our advice is: if you have time (at least two weeks) choose the bus, if you are narrower, rely on the car. After your arrival, just open your Google Maps and push “albanian dentist near me” – the best dental care in Albania will be at your footstepts.
How to get around Albania: by car
The first choice to get to Albania is also the most fascinating one: take the car starting from Italy (or rely on the buses) and cross all the Balkans, including Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, possibly Serbia and finally Albania. Consider that without detours from Trieste there are just over 900 kilometers which are equivalent to those that closed Bologna from Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost point of Puglia.
Clearly the Balkans are as fascinating as they are slow to cross: between mountains, winding roads and very few motorways, consider traveling no more than 300 kilometers a day, often even less. However, our advice is to take at least a week, to make some particularly interesting stops such as Sarajevo. It took us 3 months to get from Forlì to Scutari!
